MPAIRED Story
As a signals scientist with a Bio-Medical Engineering degree and experience in Israeli's elite Intelligence Unit 8200, one of our founders had developed radar and signal tracking technology that measured pilots' eye movements.
With his knowledge of ocular movements and AI and machine learning, he began investigating whether ocular movements could be an early identifier of brain health and impairment.
After reviewing peer-reviewed studies, He discovered that ocular movements could be predictive of early signs of brain disease or impairment. His concerns for his father were validated when he found out that his father had an invasive brain tumor. This experience highlighted the need for better and earlier diagnostic tools to detect brain disease.
This experience motivated him and the MPAIRED team to develop the most advanced ocular diagnostic detection technology available today. By detecting cognitive decline earlier, MPAIRED could have a profound impact on patients' lives, like his father.
MPAIRED's origin story reflects a deeply personal motivation to improve the world of diagnostic medicine, using cutting-edge technology to help people detect and address health issues earlier.
